Dancing With The Stars 2011 Canceled According To Abc

Dancing with the stars 2011 has been canceled, according to ABC spokesperson Elizabeth Cunningham.

“We've had a tremendous amount of viewer support, and the network would like to thank America for their views during the 12 seasons of the show, but many of the dancers have expressed interest in moving on to real dancing opportunities, and it is with great regret that we have decided to suspend the 2011 season of Dancing With The Stars.”

The announcement came as a shock to many American viewers who have centered their lives around each weekly episode.

Tom Bergeron expressed dismay with the decision of ABC broadcasting company, stating that he “depended on this gig” and that there may be no other way to pay for his costly child support after the disbandment of the popular series, which has seen a total of 1017 unique dances throughout it's 12 seasons.

The celebrity cast included Sugar Ray Leonard, Kirstie Alley, Mike Catherwood, Chelsea Kane, Petra Nemcova, Hines Ward, Wendy Williams, Kendra Wilkinson, Chris Jericho, and Ralph Macchio.

All of these stars except Nemcova appeared sullen and dismayed at this turn of events, which for many was their last opportunity at popularity. Petra Nemcova hinted at a possible contract with Rod Axleflex, the well known adult film maker.

The Dancing With the Stars 2011 lineup of dancers have had the final say.
